Aromatic Products

Central Glass handles a wide range of aromatic compounds having trifluoromethyl groups that are produced commercial quantities using hydrogen fluoride (HF) and the halogen exchange method. These products are used in many fields not only as cleaning solvents and lubricants, but also as pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates.

Aliphatic Products

Aliphatic compounds such as Hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) derived from Hexafluoroacetone (HFA) are used as pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates and in electronic materials. Central Glass has the manufacturing capacity to meet the needs of our customers with dependable supplies of high-quality products.

Trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (Triflic acid), derivatives

The Central Glass Group manufactures trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (Triflic acid) at a commercial plant. We have a comprehensive lineup of Triflate derivatives and Trilate salts, including Trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride (Triflicanhydride) and Lithium Trifluoromethanesulfonate.

Aromatic monomers

Central Glass manufactures BIS-AF [CAS No. 1478-61-1], which is used as a cross-linking agent for rubber and a resin raw material. We also have a competitive edge in various derivatives and similar compounds derived from it. By using the aforementioned monomers, functions such as heat resistance specific to fluorine-containing compounds can be added. It has a proven track record of being used as a polymer raw material for various semiconductor materials, and we have established a high-quality product management system.

CVD Process Gases for Semiconductors

We are commercializing tungsten hexafluoride (WF₆) which is used to mold metal wiring and trimethylsilane (3MS) which is used to form low-k dielectric constant interlayer insulating coating.

Cleaning Gases for Semiconductors Manufacturing Equipment

Since completing a multi-purpose manufacturing facility for high-purity fluorine gases in 1988, we have consolidated our position as a major supplier of chlorine trifluoride (ClF₃) and other cleaning gases for semiconductors manufacturing equipment.

Etching Gases for Next Generation Semiconductors

CEG® is the brand name for Central Glass' innovative process gases for semiconductors. In the CEG® Series, we have commercialized various process gases that have a lower environmental impact than existing gases and are suitable for 3D devices and cutting-edge materials.

Pattern Keeper™ (Pattern Collapse Prevention Agent)

A chemical solution with high water repellency created by our proprietary technology. Prevents pattern collapse by providing the surface of a semiconductor pattern with this same characteristic of water repellence, which is a major problem during the drying process after wet cleaning.

Photoresist Materials

We supply a variety of fluorine-containing monomers and polymers.

Photo-curable Resins

We provide photo-curable resins for semiconductors and displays that utilize our fluorine technology, which have features such as liquid repellency, low refractive index, and transparency. (R&D products)

Chopped Strand

Glass fibers are cut into specified lengths and used as reinforcement material for FRTP and BMC in a wide range of fields, including automobiles, electrical and electronic equipment, and housing equipment.

Milled Fiber

It is a powdered product made by grinding glass fiber in a special method, which improves physical properties such as thermal property and dimensional stability while maintaining the excellent surface finishes of the product.

Chopped Strand Mat

Glass fibers are formed into a sheet (non-woven fabric). The base material strength is not directional and it is widely used as a base material for hand layup molding in applications such as vessels, vehicles, laminates, and a FRP waterproof construction base material.
