Disclosure Policy
1. Basic Policy
Central Glass Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) discloses corporate information in a timely, appropriate and fair manner in order to maintain and develop relationships of trust with our stakeholders, including our shareholders and investors, and also works toward sustained enhancement of corporate value through constructive dialogue with stakeholders.
2. Disclosure Standards
The Company discloses information in accordance with the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and other laws and regulations, in addition to the rules on timely disclosure of company information stipulated in the Securities Listing Regulations of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (hereinafter referred to as “Timely Disclosure Rules”).
We also actively and fairly disclose information that does not fall under laws or Timely Disclosure Rules, but which we determine to be important or useful for stakeholders to understand the Company.
3. Disclosure Methods
We disclose information that falls under the Timely Disclosure Rules via the Timely Disclosure network (TDnet) provided by the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and also promptly publish it on the Company’s website.
In addition, we disclose information that does not fall under the Timely Disclosure Rules by publishing it on the Company’s website and other means.
4. Quiet Period
The Company has designated the period from the day after the end of each quarter until the day of announcement of financial results as a quiet period in order to prevent the leakage of financial information and ensure fairness. During the period, we refrain from answering questions or making comments regarding financial results or earnings forecasts.
However, even during the period, we disclose information in accordance with the Timely Disclosure Rules if there is a significant deviation from the Company’s performance forecast.
5. Forward-Looking Statements
Forward-looking statements such as earnings forecasts disclosed by the Company are based on information available to the Company at the time of disclosure and on the Company’s judgments made based on certain assumptions. Therefore, please be aware that actual results, etc. may differ from the disclosed earnings forecasts, etc. due to factors such as various future risks and uncertainties.
