| Registration method |
- -Applicants must complete registration using the registration form on this website.
Once the required information is entered and submitted, applicants will receive registration numbers by email. These registration numbers are required for submission, so applicants should retain record of their registration numbers during the entire competition process.
The following should be noted:
- -Queries about registration numbers will not be answered after registration number issuance.
- -An applicant may submit multiple entries. Each entry must be registered separately. Please note that even if multiple entries are submitted, only one entry per applicant (whether an individual or a group) can pass the screening or receive a prize.
- -For jointly created entries, please make sure to list all co-creators at the time of registration. Only those whose names are entered during registration are eligible to participate in the final screening.
- -Registration can only be completed using the website.
- -Registration details cannot be modified once registration is completed. If an applicant requires different registration details, he or she should reregister.
- -Mobile phone email addresses may be unable to receive registration notification emails.

- -One sheet A2 size (420 x 594 mm), single-sided, overleaf (back side) of the sheet should be left blank
The following must be included in the submission:
- -Floor plan, section, and/or site plan (at any scale)
- -Perspective diagram or a picture of a model
Applicants are free to add charts, diagrams, or descriptive text to help describe their plan. The text must be within 100 words, in English.
- *Use A2 size paper only. Do not frame or mount the paper.
- *Applicants should write their registration numbers in 35-point font in the bottom-right corner on the front side of the sheet and should not write any other details that may be used to identify them.

Live stream on YouTube / On-site viewing is by advance application only.
The seven finalists will be required to create a model based on their initial entry.
The final screening will consist of a poster session where finalists display their models and exchange views with the judges, followed by a session open to the public where the award winners are determined.
Details of the final screening will be provided to the finalists and Honorable Mention winners after the initial screening. Honorable Mention winners may attend the public session of the final screening.
For jointly created entries, only applicants whose names are entered during registration are eligible to participate in the final screening.

Information |
- -Entries must not have been previously published in any form.
- -Entries must not be submitted simultaneously to any other competition.
- -All prize money and related expenses will be paid by bank transfer only. Payments may not be made to bank accounts held under names other than that of each award winner.
- -Travel expenses for the final screening will be provided to the seven finalists as follows:
Participants from Japan: Actual expense for one representative per group.
Participants from outside Japan: A flat rate of ¥100,000 for one representative per group.
- *Prize money and travel expenses will be transferred after the final screening. Please be aware that monetary compensation may not be possible if international wire transfers are restricted by global conditions at the time of the competition.
- *Copyright of the winning entries will remain with their designers; however, the competition sponsors reserve the right to publish the entries in magazines and other media.
- -Competition entries must not infringe the copyright of any other work, either in whole or in part. Do not use images from magazines, books, or websites. If copyright infringement is found, the entry in question will be disqualified.
- -Entries will not be returned. If required, applicants should make copies for their own use before submitting their entries.
- -Personal information submitted in connection with this competition may be shared with the competition sponsors for competition purposes only. Personal information will not be sold nor provided to any third party.
- -Please strictly adhere to all rules stated in these guidelines.
